The
beautiful house near Fontecorniale has 8 persons, 4 adults and 3 or 4 kids. It
has a swimming pool of 10x5 metres in its garden.
Fontecorniale is located 18 kms inward from Fano, between Mombaroccio and
Fossombrone. The house has a quiet atmosphere on a hill in the beautiful
scenery of Le Marche. This
region east of Tuscany has a
rich history and a unique concentration of natural treasures. On the coast
there are stretched sand beaches and fishermen towns. From this region
originate the painter Rafael and the composer Rossini. In spring time and
summer many concerts and opera festivals are organised. The area offers a
holiday with sun and sea, nature, castles and culture. Famous is the opera
festivals of Macerata and Pesaro.
Also a sporty vacation is possible. Next to what the sea offers there are
numerous possibilities for hiking, mountain bike, golf, canoe, mountain
climbing and parachuting. Famous cities, such as Urbino, Pesaro
and Fano are within half an hour drive. Jesi, Ancona,
Ascoli Piceno and San Leo are
only an hour away. Tuscany and Umbria
can be reached within half an hour. Arezzo
and Perugia within one and a half
hour. Florence and Venice
within two and a half. Rome three
hours.
