Costa Blanca

When you think of the Costa Blanca, you think of sun and sea . Of course the warm climat attracts many tourists to the coast, where all facilities are open, both in summertime and in wintertime and where re the winter temperature seldom drops below 15 degrees..

But there is so much more!.

Alicante, where most of the visitors arrive is a pleasant city to visit. The beautiful boulevards, flanked with palm trees, the cozy bars with real tapas on the menu, historical buildings, everything is present for a few pleasant days. 
Also Murcia and Valencia are worth a visit. From Finestrat it is only a few minutes to the mountains, in a majestic landscape, away from the crowds. The rail track from Alicante to Denia offers splendid views over the coast and the mountains.
If you like sports, there are many golf courses in the direct vicinity. Hiking or biking in the mountains is also one of the possibilities.
The mountain range that protects Finestrat from the cold winds is called Sierra Cortina, also the name of the resort.
Nobody needs to feel bored at the Costa Blanca. There is something for every taste. But most of all, there is sun, sea and nature.
