Interview with Alexandra

1) your songs have pretty uncommen titles like Aislinn and Emersi. Why do you use such special titles for your songs?

I don’t especially set out to find unusual names! I have to sit and think about what represents the meaning of the song well. With Aislinn and Emersi the meanings of these words really felt appropriate when it came to what my lyrics meant. Emersi is latin for “To rise above” and that is exactly what Emersi is about!. Rising above troubles and looking for ways of escape. I actually came across the name Aislinn when looking for inspiration on the web for a band name!. Aislinn means “Vision/Dream” again which represents the lyrics very well. The song tells a story of being seduced by someone with a very enticing power and not being able to resist as they are offering you your wildest dreams, but with a little twist!.

2) Wich of your songs is the most special to you?

Personally it is Cold Moon. It is one of the first songs we wrote. I love the atmosphere of the music and the lyrics, the story it tells. Every time I listen to it, or sing it, the lyrics turn into pictures and the story comes alive!

3) What do you hope to achive with your music?

We all just love playing music! We want others to enjoy our songs as much as we love creating them and playing them to an audience. To see that people really like it is a very satisfying feeling! And a big motivation to continue. We just want to carry on doing what makes us and others happy :-)

4) Your cd's have been sold out lately, how does that make you feel?? Must be very special?

Its wonderful that people are interested in our music and want to add our songs to their collection! Like I said before, its very satisfying.

5) So far you have relsead four songs on your demo. Are you guys writing more songs at the moment?

Now we have a 2nd guitarist we are writing more in the studio. That is our main aim this year, write lots of songs and play them live!
