Inkubus Sukkubus 

                                      

Inkubus Sukkubus is a pagan/gothic rock band from England.  The band members are Candia Ridley (vocals), Tony McKormack(guitar), Adam Henderson (bass guitar) and James Hamblett (guitar sins 2005) . 

The band was founded in 1989. The band started out as Incubus Succubus. Their goal was (and still is) to make music about paganism. The name of the band was changed from Incubus Succubus to Inkubus Sukkubus for numerological reasons.

The band was called Children of the  Moon for a while as well. That was when Adam and I.S. original drummer left the band, and only Tony and Candia where left. Both came back but only Adam staid to this day. The "Children of the Moon" songs are on Inkubus Sukkubus Beltaine album.    

Candia and Tony have been married for pretty much as long as the band exists

Maybe you wander what the name of the band means...                                                       
In Medieval times people believed in ghosts that  would have sex with people who where asleep. The male version of those ghosts was called an Incubus and the female one a Succubus. A lot of men used stories about Succubusses when they would get punished for having sex outside marriage (you could get punished for that back then). Women telling about a Incubus would get punished anyway!! Needlessly to say that all judges where men in those days.

1 What is your fav song to perform live.

Tony: Take my Hunger

2 Which song that you've written are you most proud of?

Tony: Heart of Lilith

3 If you'd lived in an other time what kind of person would you want to be
   and in what time would you live?

Tony: I would like to live in the future

4 Who is Lugosie that is mentioned in Vampyra? (lugosie only rose for me)
  (by the way.. compliments on that song! its my fav Is song!! I love it so much!!

Tony: It's Bela Ligosi the old Universal Actor from the Dracula film of 1931.

5 How did you learn about paganism?? is it in your family or did you find
  out about it yourself??

Tony: Some of it is from my family, but most of it is self learnt.
