Our house ...

Last January 13th we were able to transfer the ownership documents, so we now officially own 0,9 Are (= 90 m˛) of land in the city of Weesp.  The address of our new property is:

Herensingel  115

1382 VP   Weesp

On the property, there’s quite a large pile of bricks.  Luckily they’re piled up pretty neatly and covered with tiles, so it even provides shelter.  Before we could actually move in, some DIY was required.  Pictures of the progress in that can be found from this webpage.

When we were still looking to buy the place, the real estate broker of the selling party posted these pictures of the house on his webpage:

… view from the front …                                                                    … view into the kitchen …

… view front to rear …                                                                       … view rear to front …

Looks pretty good eh?  That’s what we thought too!

There’s a pinewood floor throughout the ground floor.  This still needs a cover of oil to protect it, but that’s something for later.

The kitchen (top right picture) is equipped with gas cooker, fridge and freezer (4 draws) and two sinks.

The swingdoors at the rear provide access to our mostly paved garden.  There’s also (quite a large) shed.

The white door in the bottom two pictures provides access to the hallway and toilet.

As already mentioned, the house required some DIY.  Find information and pictures of the progress of that here
