For quite some time I have been
the privileged owner of quite some PS/s kit.
I was then able to take over some of it from my then employer (IBM
indeed). I had always planned to build
an extensive LAN – or even computing grid – from these fine machines.
Over the years there are several
arguments why I sort of lost interest to execute these plans. A shift of interest, lack of time, lack of
space, the limited amount of performance/function (and don’t rule out the
WAF-factor) have made me decide to sell of my complete collection to whomever
is interested. I would like to sell
them off in one sale – no separate machines/parts.
All of the machines work. Some of them even fully, the others only
require an OS to be installed to function. Needless to say they are accompanied
by matching keyboard, mouse and monitor (a choice of 8503, 8515 or 8514
models).
The collection is also accompanied
with several (separate) cards (IBM Token Ring, Portmaster adapters, SIMMs,
cables, harddrives (SCSI), etc), packaged in a box.

see more details on the various machines from my collection.
Back in the 1990’s, this
collection of PS/2-machines was worth some US$ 36,518.-. As I realise there has been some
depreciation and loss of value over the years, I would suspect the collection
to raise maybe ˝ % of that - €185.-, but this is only an indication and I am
open to any offer.
I live close to Amsterdam in the
Netherlands and am willing to bring the entire collection to anywhere within
the BeNeLux area and Germany (up to 400km from the Dutch border) – hoping I can
fit the collection in my lease-car.
Shipping would most probably mean craze P&P cost, so I wouldn’t
recommend this (though I am willing to ship worldwide at the cost of the
buyer).
Drop me an e-mail and
make me an offer – thanks!
