ANGELin the car......????
Did you ever take a lifter in your car, whilst
driving on the motorway, who disappeared suddenly out of the car after
having delivered a short message, like, for instance, 'The Lord is coming
soon' and. you reached the conclusion that he had to be an angel! Some
claim they did, according to stories, which circulate in christian churches.
If you had such an encounter or a similar one or know personally somebody,
who did, please write me.
Please, don't misunderstand me, I can accept that
there are such appearances, but I would like to search for reality and
meaning.
Here are some questions I would
like to be answered:

1. What is true in the story (were there more persons
who actually saw the angel?

2. If the story is not true, who made it up and why?

3. Under which conditions did the incident occur?
-
4. In which mood were those, who experienced the
visitation?
-
5. Was it a real appearance or e.g. an hallucination
or something like it?

6. Was it an angel, who mentioned his name, and said
in whose commission he acted?
-
7. How must we evaluate and judge the message and
power comparing it with the Scriptures? I can refer to 2 Thess. 2:1,2 and
Gal. 1:8.

8. If it is true, which value and meaning do we attach
to it?
We know that there is a subjective importance in
such experiences of angels. There are aspects that no one really understands,
but those who had the experience know it really happenend and they also
know the impact it had on their life.
I will be most interested to receive reactions
on this post and would like to correspond with those, who had such an experience
or a similar one.
