My name is Dini Kemperman
Born in 1930 in Westervoort, I 'm 79 years.
I'm living with lots of pleasure in Amsterdam since 1955.
Since 1960 I am disabled.

Why do I search people for supporting me?

I want to keep my own independence,
but to keep the possibility to come somewhere,
I have bought a secondhand three-wheeled moped (Inca Solo).

The maintenance is however very expensive and the government of Amsterdam does not pay for it any more.
I have only an olderly benefit, so may be you can understand that I look with fear towards to the moment that this moped needs a big repair or even more that it is necessarily to replace.

In the past I always got this three-wheeled car from the government.
They replaced it every 4 years.
The advantage of this car is that I can do everything by myself and I do not have to ask other people to help me in my normal live.
With this car I can do al my shopping and also I could go to my job:
I was 22 year volunteer on the dispatch of the Animal ambulance of Amsterdam.
I worked there until January 1st, 2006 and I did three or more shifts every week.

I also use this car to ride to my son in Almere (30 km) and sometimes I even ride to my family in Arnhem (100 km).

Unfortunately these cars are no longer supplied by the GAK / UWV.
This it is now done by the Social Service of the Government of Amsterdam.

This service find that I have to be glad with a Scootmobiel and Stadsmobiel.
This is not what I want. In that case I become dependent of other people.
