On this site you can find pictures of the narrow gauge locomotives of Tjalling Ament and Henk van der Heijden. Both locomotives are currently in storage. With these pictures we want to show you what these machines looked like when we bought them and what the different steps of the restoration were.
We also want to use this site to show more pictures and stories about narrow gauge.
In addition we want to collect as many pictures and information of machines build by Moës or Windhoff. If you have any material, and you don't mind finding it on this site, please e-mail.
Helene is the machine of Tjalling Ament. It concerns a Windhoff locomotive, building year approximately the nineteen thirties. This figure is based on two other machines we saw. The engine, gearbox, axles and axle pots are originally of a Moës. It is said this engine wore the name Helene in the past.
Moës 7 is the machine of Henk van der Heijden. This machine was entirely
built by Moës, in approximately the nineteen fifties. The engine was replaced
by a two-cilinder Deutz (aircooled). The gearbox, axles and axle pots of both
machines are the same.

Both machines side by side underneath a tarpaulin.
