An
historic overview of half-a-century of international
Scout exchanges via radio. This unique booklet presents
JOTA's origin, development, ideas, and world-wide
participation.
It will take you to the roots of radio-scouting, reports
on all JOTA's, shows a glimpse of every World Scout
Jamboree with an amateur radio station and offers
a look into the future.
Co-authored by the JOTA founder Les Mitchell G3BHK
and former and current World JOTA Organizers Len Jarrett
VE3MYF and Richard Middelkoop PA3BAR, CQ
Jamboree
has unique material and photographs most of which
have never been published before. The historic overview
is based on their personal recollections and material
that lay hidden away in boxes for many years.
CQ
Jamboree
is published in book format, 64 pages with binding,
17 x 24 cm, in full colour. This means it has all
50 JOTA participation cards in colour, as well many
photographs. The language is English. You can view
a sample page here.
CQ
Jamboree
will be available for as long as stock lasts;
only a limited number has been printed for this unique
edition.
